maintainability rating of 6 out of 10. This is a good figure, although it is slightly inferior to the results of the devices iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which scored 7 points.
It is worth highlight the following points regarding Google Pixel XL:
- The smartphone uses a modular structure that allows you to easily replace many components after opening the display.
- The battery is easy to replace, although it is attached using a small amount of glue.
- The device uses only screws type T5 Torx.
- The opening process requires lifting the thin and fragile display module, which is difficult to do without damaging it.
- In addition to the screws, the inner frame is attached with grooves, which makes its removal and subsequent repair time-consuming.
