"Smart" watches Alcatel OneTouch Watch were presented at CES 2015, where they became the object of close attention. Firstly - because, having a rich functional, belong to the budget segment. Secondly, they can work not only with Android-smartphones, but also with devices running iOS. Manufacturers of portable devices often ignore Apple products. But watches from Alcatel, having their own OS, may well become a budget alternative to Apple Watch.

Packing, equipment

The watch is packed in a small red box. On one side there is a white version of the watch on it, and on the other - a black one. The watch itself is immersed in a thick foam, which occupies two thirds of the box.

The remaining third is occupied by a small red box with documentation and a USB cable. The cable is similar to OTG, that is, it has USB connectors "dad" and "mom" from different ends. It allows you to charge the clock from the network, using the adapter from any mobile device. This is much more convenient than charging them, for example, from a laptop.

Appearance

Visually, the body can be divided into two parts: a round frame and strap mounts are made of stainless steel, the bottom cover is made of plastic. The bottom is painted in black and has a matte finish. The strap is made of thermoplastic polyurethane. Round dial is covered with a protective glass Gorilla Glass.

The watches are produced in two color versions - white and black. Both got to the editorial office, but black was chosen for the test from purely subjective reasons. Why? Well, the black version looks more expensive, it does not so quickly soiled strap, and the display seems large in size.

Despite the round dial, the working surface of the display is not round - at the bottom it has a slice, which serves as one of the controls - the "Back" button. The black version has a black edging around the display, the white model is white. On the edging there are ten strokes and two figures: 6 and 12.

On the right side surface there is a metal on / off button. From below and from above from an equal cylindrical surface, metal straps are provided.

At the corners of the rear surface there are four screws securing the case. In the center of the bottom is a transparent plastic insert, under which there is a heartbeat sensor.

Also below are four more screws (two on each side), securing the case with a strap. The strap is not removable, it can not be replaced. To fix the strap on the wrist is used metal clip-clip. It connects both parts of the strap together.

To expose the USB-plug, which is necessary for charging the watch, you need to slightly break the "tail" of the strap. During the wearing of the watch, the plug is "immersed" in the groove at the end of the strap and is not noticeable.
